Spectrum Dynamics’s first product based on the BroadView™ Technology is the D-SPECT™ Cardiac Scanner, a dedicated rapid acquisition camera for functional dynamic imaging of absolute myocardial perfusion and coronary flow reserve measurements. The camera was first introduced at the 2005 RSNA meeting in Chicago and was received with great interest by the medical and the business community alike. Installation of four D-SPECT™ Cardiac Scanners will begin in early 2007 for clinical trials in the U.S., with selling activities commencing soon after.
